Coopers Farm

Welcome to Coopers Farm

Coopers Farm, in Hadlow Down East Sussex, is a traditional mixed 'Wealden' farm in the heart of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Coopers Farm is a working farm selling our produce directly from the farm, at local village markets, at local events and directly to local pubs and restaurants.

We welcome farm direct sales and also do local deliveries. We are currently farming beef, pork, chicken, turkeys and seasonal veg and fruit. We run the farm on organic and sustainable principles. We take great pride in managing the farm in traditional ways where farming and nature can work together in harmony. We hope you find our website of interest.

It’s been a busy day today. We noticed at 6am that number 84 was in labour. Michael checked on her every 1/2 hour. Sadly she did not progress very well and when hooves were seen they were the calves back legs ( again). Another call to the vet at 10am. The lovely Abbie ( who pulled out number 52 calf last Monday) came out and after a lot of effort ( pulling and using calving Jack) a HUGE boy calf was born. Mum and baby currently doing well.
At 4:15 this afternoon we noticed that number 36 was in labour. Within 1/2 hour she managed to deliver a beautiful girl. Again mum and baby doing well.
Just number 88 to give birth and the anxiety of waiting for the cows to deliver will come to an end for this year.

Picture is number 36 (Primrose)and her calf.
